Currently, the Korean LindyHap scene is very stagnant.

The best time for Korean Lindy-Hop was in the 2010s. Before COVID-19, Korean swing dance and Lindi-Hop were very active and crowded.

But through the pandemic, a lot of people have fallen off. As far as I'm concerned, about a third of the existing Lindy Hoppers have quit dancing.

 

After the pandemic ended, a new second act began. The atmosphere has changed a lot.




First of all, the gender ratio changed. Before the pandemic, there were more women or similar. But after the pandemic, there are about 1.5 times more men.

This atmosphere has changed the atmosphere in social dance.

First of all, the rejection rate of followers has increased. I think it's because more male dancers are asking for dance.

It's because female dancers can now choose male dancers and dance.

 

So some followers refuse to dance unless they really want to dance.
